Join us at The Keep on March 22^nd 2023 to immerse yourself in 1940’s life! With a range of literary and craft activities, you will learn about the day-to-day of wartime Britain.

The two hour workshop (2pm-4pm) will focus on themes such as food, dance, fashion and media. Have you ever wondered what is was like to go to a Saturday dance in the 1940s? Or perhaps you are more interested in 1940s attire? Or maybe you just want a chance to do some creative activities? There will be also be an opportunity to engage in unique archival material exclusive to The Keep. Refreshments and free books included! We hope to see you there (especially if you’d enjoy listening to some 1940s jazz!)
