Best Served Cold

May 26 @ 19:30 £5 – £9
Acting Out, Dublin’s leading LGBTQ+ theatre group, present a tense and darkly comic story of love and revenge.
After falling out with his best mate Eoin, Colm meets Simon, one of Eoin’s many ex-boyfriends, randomly in a bar, where they laugh about maybe starting a ‘low key revenge’ plot against him. But what starts as a prank, quickly escalates into something much more troubling. And as the screw tightens, Colm’s misgivings grow. Until it’s not at all clear, just who is taking revenge on who.
Written by Sean Denyer, the winner of Ireland’s National GALA award 2020 and the Scripts Playwriting Festival 2021. Sean also wrote The Decriminalisation Monologues, which was shown at Brighton in 2019 where it was shortlisted for Best New Play.
