From hilarious ten-second gags to full three-minute routines, expect slapstick, songs, absurd characters, rap-battles, and even beatboxing. This is the speed of the internet on a stage. As seen on BBC News, LBC News, BBC Radio and Comedy Crowd TV. Featuring DazzReviews (150 million hits on YouTube).
Previous appearances include Brighton Spiegeltent, Edinburgh Fringe, Leicester Comedy Festival and Winchester Comedy Festival.
“Most reliable sketch-group in the game” ★★★★ (EdFringeReview) “The hit-rate of their sketches is high” (The List) FEATURED: Best of the Rest of the Fest, ★★★★★ (Scottish Daily Mail) ‘THE hot, young comedy act you promised yourself’ ★★★★ (Get Your Coats On)
Whether a slapstick routine told through beatboxing or the typo-based secrets of Area 52, you’ll never know what’s next! All the while, a disgruntled Rich Tea runs riot through the show, determined to prove they’re NOT the most boring biscuit. With this crazed cookie on-the-loose, the rest of the biscuits must stop him from sabotaging the sketches, stealing characters, sound effects, and even dialogue.
Written by and starring local comedians James Horscroft (nominated for the David Nobbs Comedy-Writing Award) and Daryl Joseph Reader (DazzReviews, 500,000 YouTube subscribers), as well as songwriter Capriella Monique (Stand-up for Cider, New Online UK Comedian of the Year), character-comedian Lily Maryon (‘Sketch Off 2024’ semi-finalist), and Harry Brown (Mountview graduate).
In addition to their Brighton Fringe and Edinburgh Fringe returns for 2025, Biscuit Barrel are also making their Hollywood Fringe debut in June, as well as a stint at the first ever Rik Mayall Comedy Festival. The 25th May event coinciding with the 50th anniversary of ‘Monty Python and the Holy Grail’, this is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the continuing sketch-comedy tradition.
