Brighton People’s Theatre is casting our new play Born and Bread, and we’d love to meet you.

Brighton People’s Theatre is staging its new show Born & Bread, which has been written using the real stories of Brighton people. If you’re interested in joining, looking to try something new and exciting, want a place to be creative, and want to have a laugh in an open, playful, fearless and respectful space, then sign up for their casting evening. There is no need to have attended any previous BPT workshops to come to the casting, and no performance experience is required.
  • When: Tuesday 21 March, 6 – 9 pm
  • Where: Friends Meeting House, Ship Street, Brighton, BN1 1AF
  • Recalls will take place on Tuesday 28 March, 6 – 9 pm
They currently have performance parts written for people with lived experience and authentic voices from:
Whitehawk, Mexico, Bevendean, Jamaica, Portslade, Poland, Moulsecoomb, Syria, Kent, Ethiopia, Bevendean, Thailand, Lewes, Uganda, Scotland, India, Sussex, Palestine, London, Bristol, France, Zimbabwe, Hove, New Zealand, Manchester, Lithuania, Slough, Italy, Lancing…Whatever region of the UK or the world you are from, whether you’re born and bred in Brighton or you’ve just arrived, there is a part for you.
