Charity Beach Tennis Marathon Tournament

oin us for an exciting and energetic Charity Beach Tennis Marathon in support of Age UK! Gather your team, bring your competitive spirit, and help us raise funds for a fantastic cause. This is an incredible opportunity to have fun while making a difference!

Event Details:

  • Date: Sunday, 23 March
  • Time: 10:00 – 13:45
  • Location: Brighton Beach Tennis Club, Brighton Sand Court (Seafront, just below the Grand Hotel)
  • Teams: 6 teams of 4 – 6 players each
  • Team Names: Get creative and come up with a unique team name!
  • Entry Fee: £60 per team

Match Format:

  • 2 x 90-minute matches with a well-deserved break in between.
  • Teams must play continuously for 90 minutes, with the Team Captain rotating players throughout.
  • Scoring: Similar to standard tennis. At 40-40, a deciding point is played. Teams swap ends after an odd number of games (e.g., 2-1).
  • Serving: Normally, no lets – but for this event, one let per serve is allowed (each let has a forfeit of 20p donation!).

Winning Criteria & Prizes:

The team that wins the most games across both matches will be crowned the Charity Beach Tennis Champions! Prizes to be won!
