Foot Locker x Buddies Fish & Chips Café

3 May @ 12:00 pm - 5:00 pm

Free

As part of Foot Locker’s “Summer Different – Your City, Your Summer” campaign, which celebrates the unique ways local communities across Europe embrace summer, Foot Locker are taking over the iconic Buddies Fish & Chips Café on Brighton seafront. The event will feature a special menu served in Foot Locker-branded containers, with free meals available to all visitors throughout the day. There will also be a DJ takeover, featuring local Brighton talent, exciting prizes to win, and screen-printed football jerseys for the first 300 attendees. In addition, Foot Locker’s FLX members will have exclusive access to specially curated maps from Lostboys, a UK-based collective from Nottingham that celebrates music, fashion, culture, and community. These maps will guide sneaker enthusiasts to hidden gems around Brighton, as well as Foot Locker stores. The maps are available for pickup at the Foot Locker store in Churchill Square, Brighton. To further demonstrate Foot Locker’s commitment to community and creative expression, a large-scale mural has been unveiled at one of Brighton’s most vibrant cultural hubs. Located at 95 Gloucester Road, just a short walk from the seafront, the Royal Pavilion, and the Foot Locker store, the mural spans 5 meters by 6 meters and will be on display for three weeks. Featuring images from Brighton and celebrating local talent, the mural reflects the city’s dynamic sneaker culture. This initiative not only connects with the Brighton community but also highlights the city’s cultural identity and creative spirit.
