Experience the vibrant rhythms, music and community spirit of Brazil at the second annual Forrò À Beira Mar Festival, hosted by Brighton-based Brazilian dance community Forró By The Sea.

Taking place across Brighton & Hove from 16–19 July 2026, this four-day festival celebrates forró, the joyful partner dance and musical tradition from north-east Brazil. The event welcomes dancers, musicians and cultural enthusiasts from across the UK and around the world for a unique weekend of workshops, live music, social dancing and community connection by the sea.

Festival highlights include:

✨ Dance Workshops – Learn from renowned national and international teachers, with sessions suitable for a range of experience levels.

🎶 Live Music & Concerts – Enjoy performances from outstanding forró bands and musicians, bringing the authentic sounds of Brazil to Brighton.

💃 Social Dancing & Parties – Dance late into the night with DJs and live music in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.

🌊 Outdoor Dancing at Brighton Bandstand – Join us for one of the festival’s most iconic moments as dancers gather on Brighton’s famous seafront bandstand.
