ICT for Education – Brighton Conference

ICT for Education are hosting its 2022 regional conference in Brighton, on Thursday June 16th at the Amex Stadium. The conference is free to attend and focusses on a wide range of topics relevant to teachers and their schools.

Speakers include Miles Berry, Professor of Computing Education at University of Roehampton School of Education; Phil Macaree, Computer Science teacher at Oaklands Catholic School and Sixth Form College; Will Franklin, Leader of Digital learning at Westdene Primary School and Amy Cartwright, Head of Computing and Digital Innovation and Learning at Ibstock Place School.

All speakers will have new and interesting content to present with sessions covering: resources available to teachers of computing; nurturing creative thinking in the Computing classroom; What we should teach children about AI; delivering the Computing curriculum to a budget; getting value when purchasing IT equipment; using technology to support pupils with additional needs; providing a safe and secure networking environment within school… and much more.

An exhibition of technology suppliers will run alongside the conference, offering access to a wide range of products and services designed to inspire and advance teaching and learning, as well as whole school use of technology.

The conference is free to attend, however places are limited to a maximum of 100 delegates.

The conference is aimed at primary and secondary teachers, special needs teachers, senior leadership teams, school administrators, technology leaders and network managers, and offers the opportunity to discover innovative technology solutions, adopt best practice implementation, and network with peers once again.
