in Conversation with Author Jarred McGuinnis

September 21 @ 18:30 £2

Talk and book signing

Picked as one of the ten best new writers in the UK, Jarred McGinnis is the co-founder of the live literature event The Special Relationship. Jarred joins us to talk about his debut novel The Coward and will be talking about the distance between memoir and fiction with fellow writer Colin Grant. McGinnis’s novel opens with the epigram “The distance between fiction and memoir is measured in self-delusions,” and is a fictionalised version of his own life. Grant’s Homecoming is an oral history of the Windrush generation, of which he’s a child.
