Incredible Madrigals (Drama Workshop)

8 August @ 9:30 am 11 August @ 3:30 pm

Join us for 4 days of acting, singing and movement to music. Play games and make new friends whilst exploring the much-loved musical of Encanto! Dramatis Holiday Workshops are an ideal way to keep children entertained during school breaks. Themed around popular films and musicals, they incorporate drama-based games and exercises as well as music and movement activities. The emphasis is very much on having fun, with simple song lyrics and dance routines that everyone can follow. As the week progresses, children work together to create their own devised performance which is filmed to camera on the last day (providing a nice souvenir of their holidays!) ABOUT DRAMATIS Dramatis is a Sussex based, extra-curricular drama school that harnesses the power of Pretend Play. Stage stardom is not our end game. We recognise that not all children want to be in the spotlight – but do enjoy playing at being someone, something or somewhere else. By using drama games and exercises, we empower your child’s imagination and help turn their ideas into more structured stories and characters. Rather than follow a set script, our pupils take great pride in devising their own unique performances. This creative process helps children develop key Life Skills (whilst having a lot of fun!) The non-pressurised and nurturing environment means Dramatis classes and workshops suit children of all temperaments – whether shy and reserved or confident and communicative, your child will find a welcoming home at Dramatis Drama School.
