Meet the Artist: An Evening with Chloe McCarrick

July 21 @ 19:00 £15.00
**Meet the Artist event: An evening with Chloe McCarrick**, internationally renowned artist and headliner of Collection Four at Katherine Richards Art Gallery, Hove’s newest and most exciting contemporary art gallery.
**Thurs 21st July, 7-9pm**. Ticket £15, all proceeds in aid of Women for Women International charity. Includes refreshments.
Chloe McCarrick is an internationally acclaimed artist who regularly exhibits in London, Paris, New York and Los Angeles. Her work is held in the permanent heritage collection for Le Salon Des Beaux Arts Foundation in Paris.
Best known for her beautiful circular cyanotypes in blue and gold, Chloe’s work explores the boundless possibilities of image production in the age of modern printmaking.
Inspired by themes of natural history, influential women and science, Chloe’s work is the subject of extensive research and intrigue.
Female empowerment is a recurring theme running throughout her work, constructing visual narratives of the lives of extraordinary, trailblazing women; celebrating their achievements, uncovering their struggles and chronicling the stories of these often unsung heroes.
Hosted by gallery owner and interior designer Katherine Richards, this intimate and convivial evening will appeal if you:
* Are interested in the creative processes of photography and printmaking
* Are intellectually curious and want to hear more about HER-story rather than HIS-story
* Are an aspiring artist who wants to find out what it takes to get noticed
* Enjoy meeting like-minded art lovers in a friendly, relaxed setting
* Believe in supporting a small business with big ambitions
We look forward to welcoming you!
