Private View

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Sneaker Art series, Dave White will be exhibiting at Enter Gallery in Brighton with a Private View on Friday 3rd February from 6pm to 8pm.

The new show will feature two new highly sought-after limited edition prints and three original paintings from the archive of this celebrated artist.

There will also be a Q&A with the artist and a chance to chat with him further over a glass of bubbly.

Sneaker Art

It was back in 2003 that Dave White initiated the Sneaker Art movement, with his series of Pop Art inspired oil paintings of the most desirable trainers from his personal collection.

A small series of highly sought-after editions were released at this time (and long since sold out). White’s latest show at Enter Gallery is a rare opportunity to revisit this coveted collection and to own a piece of history that celebrates 20 years since the launch of his Sneaker series.

These portraits of beloved footwear, characterised by the same energetic drips of pigment that have gone on to define his oeuvre, led to long-term collaborations with Nike and Brand Jordan.
