Stomping Ground Comedy with Jack Skipper!

In collaboration with Municipal Comedy, LIVE at The Grounds brings you Stomping Ground Comedy. Located right in the heart of Hove, we’ll be tickling your funny bone with an incredible lineup every month. We’re mixing it up by bringing both fresh, new local acts and established, national comedians to our bill. Alongside craft beer on tap from Hand Brewery, we’ll be serving Pizzaface Pizzas before 8pm and in the interval. Doors 7:00pm | Show 8pm Please note, no entry will be permitted after 8PM. No food and drink from outside the venue may be brought in. May Line up: MC: Simon Dooley Headliner: Jack Skipper Jack has gained a big following with his online character based comedy and has now ventured into the world of stand up. Whether he is telling stories of his life as a carpet fitter or delivering observations on family life, his every day man persona is a win with audiences. Elainie Fellows Elaine was recently a finalist for the Komedia Comedy Award 2023. Other accolades include: Hastings Newcomer of the Year Runner-Up, 2Northdown Comedy Award Finalist and Brighton New Comedian of the Year Finalist. She was also tour support for Colin Hoult’s ‘Death of Anna Mann’ tour. “Appealingly natural. Original yet relatable material” – Chortle “Likeable, funny and endearing.” – Three Weeks Edinburgh Sunjai Arif Sunjai Arif quickly wins over audiences with his confidence and warm personality. He is an engaging comedy story teller and covers tales about his family, speeding tickets and extremist rodents. Sunjai is a solid comedy act, oozes charm and will leave you grinning ear to ear. What really gets people talking is when Sunjai brings his more alternate comedy routines to the stage. Audiences lean forward with excitement and anticipation of what he’ll do next. Experience the sheer joy of seeing Sunjai share his memories of nostalgic pop culture in a way only he could imagine.
