The Young Actors Group presents Romeo & Juliet

The Young Actors Group return to BOAT for their annual youth production of a Shakespearean Classic.

It’s the future. A writer yearns for a re-telling of Romeo and Juliet that will reach an audience with a 20 second attention span. Can they team up with the latest AI chatbot to tell a tale that truly encapsulates the meaning of love!?

This one-hour adaptation of Romeo and Juliet keeps all the best bits whilst adding new verse, modern language and a whole lot of silliness! This year, two casts of sixteen young actors aged 8 – 16 take on the same script with a different director. Spoilers…some people die!

Suitable for the whole family.
