Improv Comedy Returns for 2022

Monthly improv show Scoops welcomes in the new year with its usual line up of silly, spontaneous fun.

December’s Christmas show saw a packed house enjoy Scoops regulars Ben, Simon & Ric causing made up mayhem in Santa’s grotto, followed by established Brighton improv troupe Tiny Dynamite craft a series of funny and touching scenes around a household object suggested by the audience – a toilet brush, of all things. After the break, there was festive fun with Super Santa Christmas Cracker Tinsel Time, pulling crackers live on stage and improvising hilarious scenes based on the jokes inside. The night was rounded off by London based musical improv group The Staccatos, performing songs from the back catalogue of fictional band Six Directions.

All in all it was a fantastic night that will be hard to beat, but they’re going to give it a go!

In January’s show, Ben, Simon & Ric will return, this time joined by a brand new array of acts, including improvised storytelling from A Wizard Did It. All followed by the usual audience jam, it’s certain to be a great way to see in 2022!
